Tubs, tile, vanities and fixtures removed with care in tight spaces, so the new bathroom starts on solid, dry framing.
Bathrooms are small, and small rooms leave little room for error. Cast iron tubs weigh hundreds of pounds, tile is set in mortar, and behind the walls sit supply lines, drains and sometimes years of hidden moisture damage. A careful crew works fast without breaking what should stay.
We cover the floor and the path out, remove the vanity, toilet, tub or shower and tile in a planned sequence and cut the walls back to clean framing where the project calls for it. If we find soft subfloor, rot or old leaks, we show you before we go further, so repairs can be planned and priced instead of buried under new tile.
Cast iron and steel tubs are heavy and awkward. We break them down or lift them out with the right equipment, so floors and doorways are not damaged on the way out.
Wall tile and mortar beds make a lot of dust and debris. We keep the room wet-cut and sealed where possible and clean thoroughly, so dust does not spread through the house.
Rot, mold and old leaks often show up once the tile comes off. We stop, show you and talk through the repair, which is far easier than discovering it after the new finish is installed.
Supply lines and drains must be capped properly. We coordinate with your plumber and leave the subfloor exposed and accessible for inspection and repair.
