Silt fence, straw wattles, stone entrances and seeding that keep soil on your lot and out of storm drains and streets.
Bare soil washes away in the first heavy storm. Mud on the street, sediment in the storm drain and washed-out slopes lead to complaints, fines and costly repairs. A cleared lot needs protection from the moment machines leave.
We review your site plan and any city or county requirements and install the controls the lot needs: silt fence along low edges, straw wattles on slopes, inlet protection at drains, a stone construction entrance and temporary seed and straw on bare areas. We inspect after storms and repair controls so they keep working until your builder takes over. We take photographs of each control after installation and again after the first heavy rain, which gives you proof that the site was protected and the evidence an inspector may ask to see. A well-kept silt fence is a small cost compared to a stop-work order.
These slow runoff and catch sediment. Installed correctly and trenched in, they hold soil on the lot.
A stone pad at the entrance knocks mud off truck tires before they reach the street.
Seed and straw stabilize bare soil that will sit for weeks or months. It is cheaper than repairing a washed-out slope.
Controls fail if no one looks after them. We check them after storms and fix what needs fixing.
