Paver, stone and concrete patios, walkways and steps lifted or broken out, with pavers saved for reuse when you want them.
Backyard patios and walkways wear out, settle and no longer match the way you use the yard. Taking them out is the first step of a new patio, an outdoor kitchen, a pool or simply more lawn. Pavers and natural stone can often be saved, while poured concrete has to be broken and hauled.
We talk through the plan with you, mark what stays and protect nearby plants, drains and the house. Pavers and flagstone are lifted by hand and stacked on pallets for reuse or sale. Concrete patios are saw-cut and broken out, and the base is removed or graded as agreed. We haul away what is not reusable and leave the area clean and ready to build on.
Interlocking pavers and natural stone can be lifted, cleaned and reused. We stack them neatly so your landscaper can use them again.
Concrete patios are broken out in sections, and any rebar or mesh is separated. The pieces are hauled to a recycler.
Patios often sit over drain lines, irrigation and electrical conduit. We locate them and work carefully around them.
After removal we can leave the base for a new patio or grade it for lawn. Slope and drainage matter for either choice.

Debris is loaded and hauled away on schedule, and the site is swept and kept tidy.
We grade the lot, sweep for nails and debris, take photos and walk the finished work with you.
Usually yes, if they are in good shape. We lift and stack them carefully.
Yes. Steps, low walls and walkways are part of hardscape removal.
We protect them where we can and keep equipment paths as small as possible.
Most patios take a day, and larger hardscapes take longer.
We can grade and compact the base, and your hardscape contractor finishes the prep.
