Wood, chain-link and metal fences and block, stone or timber retaining walls removed with care for neighbors and grade.
Fences and retaining walls seem simple until you pull the first post. Posts are set in concrete, walls hold back tons of soil and a missing wall can send a slope sliding. Removing them safely means understanding what they hold back and who shares them.
We confirm property lines and shared fences with you before work, mark utilities and plan how to hold the grade if a wall comes out. Wood and metal fences are taken down section by section, posts are pulled with their footings and gates and hardware are removed. Block, stone and timber walls are dismantled in layers, and we handle drainage and grade so the slope stays stable.
A fence may belong to a neighbor or be shared. We recommend talking with them first and confirming the line before we start.
Walls hold soil in place. Removal may need terracing, a replacement wall or regrading to keep the slope safe, and an engineer may be needed for tall walls.
Concrete around posts is heavy and hard to pull. We use equipment that removes the post and footing without tearing up more of the yard than needed.
Cedar boards, metal panels, stone and block can often be reused or recycled. We sort and set aside what you want.

We grade the lot, sweep for nails and debris, take photos and walk the finished work with you.
We recommend agreeing with your neighbor first. We can remove it once you confirm it is yours or agreed.
It can be if the soil is handled properly. Tall walls need an engineer, and we plan grade and drainage.
