Cleared lots shaped to the right grade and slope, with drainage in mind and a stable pad ready for your builder.
After demolition, a lot is a blank slate, and the way it is shaped affects everything that follows. Grade determines how water flows, whether a foundation stays dry and whether a driveway meets the street at a sensible slope. Good grading prevents expensive problems later.
We review your survey, site plan and builder requirements, mark stakes and shape the lot with dozers and skid steers. We cut and fill where needed, compact the pad and set slopes away from the house. We add stone entrances and silt controls where the project calls for them, and we leave a clean, stable site that is ready to stake out.
We follow the survey and site plan, and we coordinate with the surveyor or builder on target elevations.
Water has to move away from the structure and off the lot without flooding neighbors. We set slopes and swales to match the plan.
Fill must be placed and compacted in layers, or the pad will settle. We use the right equipment and verify as the project requires.
A stone construction entrance and silt fence keep mud off the street and soil on the lot.
