How we work

Six steps from first call to final grade.

A clear, unhurried process that keeps you informed and in control.

The journey

What happens, and when.

  1. A smartphone with a blank dark screen on a table beside a coffee mug, a hard hat and a rolled blank plan in soft warm light
    01

    Call and schedule

You tell us about the project, the timeline and any concerns, and we set a time to visit that fits your day.

  2. A hard hat, a tape measure and a clipboard with a blank checklist on a window sill of an old empty room in bright light
    02

    Walk the site

We walk the structure and the lot, check access, utilities and likely hazards and take photos and measurements.

  3. Orange safety fencing and a plywood dust barrier set up around the entrance of an old building in bright light
    03

    Plan, permit and protect

We prepare the written scope, coordinate permits, surveys and utility disconnects and set up fencing and dust control.

  4. An orange excavator pulling apart the wall of an old shed with debris falling and dust in bright light
    04

    Demolish and sort

The work proceeds in a planned order with water on dust and materials sorted for recycling.

  5. A dump truck being loaded with debris by a skid steer at a job site in bright light
    05

    Haul and clean

Debris is loaded and hauled away on schedule, and the site is swept and kept tidy.

  6. A freshly raked, level cleared lot with clean bare soil and straight tire marks in bright morning light
    06

    Grade and walk through

We grade the lot, sweep for nails and debris, take photos and walk the finished work with you.

Timing

How long does it take?

How long does a typical project take?

Interior jobs often take a day or two, and a house usually takes a few days of demolition after permits, surveys and utility disconnects are done. Commercial work takes longer. We give you a schedule with your written scope and update it as work moves.

Do I need to be home?

It helps to be there at the start and the end, and we keep you posted during the work by phone or message. Please keep children and pets away from equipment and work areas.

What should I do before work starts?

Move valuables and items to keep out of the work zone, clear access for equipment and trucks and tell us about neighbors, pets and your HOA. We handle protection, permits and utility coordination with you.
